Ten fingers. Ten toes. Flaky newborn skin. Sleepy smiles. He was tiny perfection.
It’s a….Gender Reveal!
I love when families come up with creative ways to learn the gender of their new baby. The W family came to see me for just that. It was a gorgeous evening here in Metro Atlanta and they were so excited to find out- boy or girl? They each wore bandannas indicating their guesses and I took a peek at the ultrasound that was in a sealed envelope before we let the paint fly. There’s just something I love about capturing the real, raw emotion of the moment! It’s a girl!
Elizabeth
Some babies are feisty and very sensitive to touch. Some babies are difficult to settle during their session. Elizabeth, however, wrote the book on dream babies! She was an absolute angel. I wish all sessions were this easy. Don’t get me wrong, I love each and every baby I get the pleasure of working with, but some give me a run for my money more than others. Without further ado, allow me to introduce Miss Elizabeth.

Piper: 9 months old!
Sometimes sessions don’t go as planned. Weather doesn’t always cooperate. Preferred locations don’t work out and we have to go with plan B. Sometimes, things work out better than anyone could have imagined! Look how big this little one is getting. It truly is bittersweet to watch her grow. Slow down miss Piper!

Liam (Outdoors)
There are numerous newborn photographers whose work I follow and admire. I couldn’t help but notice a trend of newborns being shot outdoors- on the beach, in the flowers, you name it. Some of these images are absolutely stunning!!! I just had to give it a try. I went to this gorgeous location this morning and shot some sample images, then put out a casting call. Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Liam and his gorgeous mama and family! He was the sweetest, smiliest little guy. The weather threatened to rain us out, but the clouds parted ways long enough for us to give it a shot. I love that it rained first- the misty fog and summer steam was so neat! Without further ado, Liam.
Expecting Jude
If you happen to be closely related to me, and you happen to live within 45 minutes of my house but plan a Florida vacation at the same time I do, and you also happen to be 8 months pregnant and stinking gorgeous, don’t be surprised when I kidnap you to take full advantage of the creamy light and the surreal moss-covered surroundings! Introducing my little sister, expecting baby Jude. Hopefully we can document his birth at home next month!
