I love when families come up with creative ways to learn the gender of their new baby. The W family came to see me for just that. It was a gorgeous evening here in Metro Atlanta and they were so excited to find out- boy or girl? They each wore bandannas indicating their guesses and I took a peek at the ultrasound that was in a sealed envelope before we let the paint fly. There’s just something I love about capturing the real, raw emotion of the moment! It’s a girl!
If you happen to be closely related to me, and you happen to live within 45 minutes of my house but plan a Florida vacation at the same time I do, and you also happen to be 8 months pregnant and stinking gorgeous, don’t be surprised when I kidnap you to take full advantage of the creamy light and the surreal moss-covered surroundings! Introducing my little sister, expecting baby Jude. Hopefully we can document his birth at home next month!
This couple has an incredible story. They met in Europe while both on school trips. They both went through high school and college, her in Georgia, him several states away. But as life would have it, they found their way back to one another and the rest is history. Amy is a nurse, Joe is a law enforcement officer, and this precious baby will be adored by all! I’m sure she will have a heart for service like her parents as well. I’m so excited to see this baby girls when she makes her arrival.
Baby number 4 is on it’s way! Having two boys and a girl, will Lisa even the playing field, or will Ella be the sole princess? Today was the day to find out! Lisa made a large pinata and asked the ultrasound ladies to call ME and reveal the gender, so it would be a surprise for her! Hanging from the pinata were ribbons- only one would open the bottom and reveal the gender. Everyone took turns guessing:
Finally it was time to pull the ribbons that opened the pinata to reveal…..
Yes Ella, a boy.
Congrats so much! I can’t wait for his arrival! (You better call early)
